Let’s Get Our Pecking Order Right, People

It is indeed well-known that Robert Wright and I are among the most powerful people in American politics, with the power to “suppress” someone’s free speech by suggesting that a credible news organization wouldn’t hire him (or, in my case, by not saying anything at all about him!)   However, all sophisticated observers of American politics will concede that our power pales next to that very most influential and representative person, Some Random Guy With A Sign Somewhere. Why, oh why, does “The Left” want to silence Clarence Thomas?
