Top Three?
By “What are America’s Top Three Allies?” is a bit vague; it could mean either “Who are our best three chums?”, or “Who are three most important friends?”. I think the answer to the latter would definitely include Japan and the UK, followed by a pack for third. On the former, if the question is purely political and not cultural, I’d have to go with UK, Israel, and Australia.
