Project Runway, Exhibit A:

Yes, it’s a question of distance between you and ordinary mortals. Can someone explain how Nancy Pelosi has the nerve to tell a group of veterans that her desire to avoid having her plane stop to refuel is all about security?

Project Runway, Exhibit B:

Now, I’m waiting in the airport… with WiFi. It’s not so bad. I paid extra for a nonstop flight, but it got cancelled. Snow in NYC. My connecting flight is delayed an hour, but I found an electrical outlet, and the WiFi here is only $6.95. Lunch is a Starbucks venti latte, with lots of vanilla sugar.

In all seriousness, why does Althouse hate the troops? I’m at a loss here, though one of my informants writes, “you should know that I have it from reliable sources that she said that she paid extra for the direct flight ‘so she could have more time to throw rocks at handicapped veterans.’ I thought that was a probably an unfortunate phrase.”

Indeed.
