Josh Marshall is right: The Kerry campaign can and should be all over Bush’s sudden allergy to 527’s. And it should be mockery. Look, as stupid as the ‘flip-flop’ stuff is, it can be effective. The press isn’t as pro-Bush as they used to be, but he’s still not a flip-flopper to them. One of the best things team Kerry can do is massage the media into giving Bush the flip-flop treatment, and campaign finance reform is a great place to start.
