Bill Clinton is the finest political communicator anyone alive has ever seen.  He makes Reagan look like a stammering idiot.  Even the Fox News crew was in awe.  If you didn’t hear his speech, make sure to read it.

A couple of my favorite moments:

Barack Obama after being interviewed by a Fox News reporter:  “I’m glad to be on the fair and balanced network.”

Wolf Blitzer, after Tucker Carlson talks about how the Dem speakers have been moderate, not at all like those “Moveon.org” types:  “Did you hear Jimmy Carter speak?”

This last seems to be part of the conservative talking point; Bill Krystol said that Clinton’s speech was remarkably moderate and bipartisan.  Mort Kondracke, of all people, called him on it, listing the points where Clinton excoriated the Republican party.
