Bad CIA
Apparently, all intelligence failures related to the Iraq War are the fault of the CIA.
Never mind that the neocons set up an independent intelligence operation in the Pentagon because the CIA estimates were too dovish.
Never mind that hawks relentlessly denounced the CIA for furnishing insufficient evidence of Iraqi malfeasance.
Never mind that intelligence agencies competing for funding almost always furnish the intelligence that their customers want.
It’s all George Tenet’s fault.
