Both Sides Do It Is A Hell of a Drug
Um…
To state the obvious:
At a minimum, Hillary Clinton should have disavowed Farrakhan’s support. pic.twitter.com/nEfD4b2HQp

save for a few examples, people seem to pretty universally agree that farrakhan is a gross anti-semite — but also…. since when does farrakhan represent the left? https://t.co/kBRr2zt3Bd

There is anti-Semitism on the left, of course, but this has nothing to do with Farrakhan, who is a Trump-supporting anti-Semetic reactionary. Demanding that The Left renounce him (more than it already has) makes about as much sense as saying that the left should renounce Clarence Thomas for his vote in Shelby County. We’re several steps ahead of you!
Still, glad that The Left is making its position clear:
I want to emphasize that The Left is not some amorphous blob of imaginary hobgoblins conveniently employed by the very laziest and stupidest national stenographers to deflect attention away from the GOP, it's a person (me), and I expect to be consulted before getting called out.
