Today in American Ethnic Cleansing

Your read of the day is this story of a 16 year old girl whose family was deported from Ann Arbor to Toluca, Mexico. What does she do? How does she adapt? The answer–it’s hard and it’s terrible.

This is ethnic cleansing. The first way to stop it is to defeat the white supremacist party called the Republicans. But that’s not enough. ICE must be abolished and Democrats must be pushed to be far more lenient to immigrants than Barack Obama’s administration was. People do have a point when they talk about how deportations went up quite a bit under Obama. There were complex reasons for that, but all deportations, outside of those who have been convicted of violent crimes and have lost all appeals, must end. There is no other acceptable option.
