Happy Mother’s Day Week

I’d have posted this excellent video earlier (courtesy MomsRising.org and Moveon.org) but I’ve been too busy today enjoying breakfast in bed, chocolates, handmade cards, the good feeling that came from following Nicholas Kristof’s advice, my son’s soccer game, and the kids’ witty reactions to the President’s interview on 60 Minutes (turns out I ought to have my head examined).

So what the heck, Mother’s ‘Day’ should last at least a week or three anyhow, so pass this along to the moms you know as a belated surprise.
