Indefensible

While I don’t necessarily have an objection to Michael Moore offering to put up Julian Assange’s bail per se, his statements about Assange’s accusers absolutely cannot be defended. And he’s chosen to make similar statements again.    Let’s be clear: I have no idea if Assange is guilty, but what he’s being accused of is not consensual sex by any definition.   He’s being accused of a serious violent crime; he’s not the victim of the “dating police.”   And people like Moore and Wolff should be ashamed of themselves for suggesting otherwise.
