Now This I Can Support

I suppose I could get into the obvious silliness of this op-ed — particularly the stuff about his silence during oral arguments signifying boredom — but the bottom line is that I strongly, strongly support Clarence Thomas stepping down from the bench to run for president.   And, frankly, I can’t even really attack the post for publishing it, given that the alternative would presumably have been something arguing that women are dumb, Social Security should be turned over to the former CEO of Bear Stearns,  Iran should be turned into a parking lot, or perhaps all three.
